Aaron Guinn Wins UCRA season Finale at Tazewell Speedway
Wrapping up the 2025 racing season, Tazewell Speedway hosted the United Championship Racing Alliance for a $3,000 to win feature for Crate Late Models. Fourteen drivers signed in with Russellville, Tn’s Aaron Guinn earning quick time honors with a lap of 12.171 seconds around the 1/3 speedplant. Current UCRA point leader Bradley Lewelling of Seymour, TN recorded the second quickest time of 12.282 seconds.
Two heat races would determine the starting field for the 40 lap main event. Guinn easily won his respective heat race to earn the pole for the feature. Harrogate, Tn’s Travis Fultz, who won the two previous UCRA visits to Tazewell Speedway, worked his way past Lewelling and Jason Trammell to win the second heat race and secure the outside pole starting spot.
With the drop of the green flag Guinn, who earned a win two weeks ago at Tazewell, jumped into the lead as the field stormed down the back stretch with Fultz and Smith giving chase. The feature would have a couple of cautions and lap traffic for Guinn and the top three to contend with. Leading every lap Guinn captured the win piloting the Mahle Motorsports, Phillips Excavating, Quality Masonry, Lakeway Title Services sponsored, DJ’s Performance Race Engine powered CVR Race Car
